November 9, 2011Arseh Sevom is looking for someone to help with our administration on a part time or consulting basis.
Arseh Sevom is a not-for-profit organization working to promote civil society in Iran by providing knowledge and tools.
About the work
You will work as part of a small team in our office in Amsterdam.
Your job is to ensure that the office runs smoothly. This means taking care of supplies and facilities in the office, processing mail and invoices, scheduling staff and financial meetings, and taking minutes. It also means ensuring that invoices are paid in a timely manner.
You will also assist the executive board and project managers in preparing documents and reports.
The archiving of all correspondence, invoices, dossiers, reports, and contracts will be your responsibility.
Often you will be our contact person for suppliers and institutes like the Kamer van Koophandel, the Belastingdienst and the IND. Expect to work with Dutch bureaucracy.
This is why we require you to read and write Dutch at a high level and communicate efficiently in English. The main languages spoken in the organization are English, Dutch, and Persian.

- You should be sympathetic to the organization and its mission and willing to learn.
- You should have some experience working for a not-for-profit.
- You should be able to work under deadlines and be able to prioritize
